The V8 boasts a 3-way passive configuration, featuring 2 x 10" LF drivers, a single horn-loaded 8" MF driver, and dual 1.4" HF compression drivers, which are complemented by 2.5" voice coils linked to a specialized waveshaping apparatus. Thanks to the balanced dipolar setup of the neodymium LF drivers that envelop the central coaxial MF and HF units, there's a seamless blending of neighboring frequency bands in its crossover architecture. This ensures an outstanding 80° horizontal directivity, consistent down to a frequency of 250 Hz. Its design allows for vertical suspension of up to two dozen speakers. The V8 can operate as a standalone or can be paired with V12s and/or V-SUBs. Made from marine-grade plywood, the V8 casing is safeguarded by a resilient PCP (Polyurea Cabinet Protection) layer, ensuring resistance to both impacts and weather. The speaker's front is shielded by a sturdy metal grille, cushioned with sound-permeable foam. For convenience, each side comes with a handle, and two supplementary indented handles are located at the cabinet's rear base.
