The V12 is a meticulously designed 3-way passive speaker, encompassing two 10" LF drivers, an 8" horn-loaded MF driver, and twin 1.4" HF compression drivers with 2.5" voice coils, all unified on a specialized waveshaping instrument. With the LF drivers' symmetrical dipolar configuration surrounding the central coaxial MF and HF units, there's a seamless blending of frequencies in the transition zones. This achieves a remarkable horizontal dispersion control of 120°, consistently maintained down to about 250 Hz. The design and construction facilitate vertical arrays of up to 24 loudspeakers, allowing for combinations of purely V12 units or in tandem with V8s and/or V-SUBs. Made from marine-grade plywood, the cabinet boasts a resilient and weatherproof PCP (Polyurea Cabinet Protection) finish. A sturdy metal grill shields the front, complemented by an acoustically transparent foam lining. For ease of handling, each side is fitted with a grip, and two more are recessed at the cabinet's rear base.
