With its switch mode power supply, the D40 has auto mains range selection and active Power Factor Correction (PFC). This ensures efficient operation, even under fluctuating power supply conditions.

Connecting to the d&b Remote network is seamless through Ethernet using the Open Control Architecture protocol (AES70 / OCA). Control the D40 either via its built-in web interface—accessible through a standard browser—or the dedicated d&b R1 Remote control software.
