The 3 RU two-channel D12 amplifier offers medium to high power output for low impedance loads ranging from 4 to 16 ohms, making it perfect for both mobile and fixed installations. It includes presets for all d&b loudspeakers as well as a linear mode. Each channel has independently adjustable signal delay capabilities up to 340 ms (100 m/328.1 ft), and a 4-band parametric equalizer for optional boost/cut or notch filtering. Configuration is made easy with a digital rotary encoder and LCD display.

The D12 features an auto-sensing switch mode power supply compatible with mains voltages of 120 V/230 V at 50 - 60 Hz (optional 100/200V). It incorporates d&b SenseDrive technology for precise control of LF drivers in 2-Way Active mode or actively driven d&b subwoofers, ensuring accurate bass performance even at high levels. Connectivity options include EP5 connectors with appropriate 5-wire cabling for d&b SenseDrive, as well as NL4 and NL8 connectors. RJ45 connectors provide access to the Remote network via CAN-Bus.

The d&b System check ensures the system operates within predefined parameters, while d&b Load monitoring offers automatic and continuous impedance monitoring. These features can diagnose the status of LF or HF drivers in systems with multiple elements, even when passively crossed over.
