Designed for extensive sound reinforcement scenarios, it offers elevated Sound Pressure Levels and a broadened frequency range. In its INFRA mode, the B22-SUB pairs seamlessly with other d&b subwoofers, enhancing the system's frequency spectrum. When used in sets of three or its multiples, these subwoofers can be arrayed in a Cardioid Subwoofer Formation. This configuration not only amplifies directivity at lower tones but also considerably diminishes backward radiation.

Crafted from durable marine plywood, the cabinet boasts a resilient paint finish against impacts. A sturdy metal grille, cushioned by an acoustically transparent foam, shields the cabinet's front. For enhanced mobility and handling, each side panel of the B22-SUB incorporates four handles, while the back is equipped with four wheels. The unit's base has protective runners to fend off scrapes, and the top panel has custom recesses that accommodate these runners, ensuring a stable stack without any unintended movements.
