The Y7P is a compact, 2-way passive loudspeaker that integrates two 8” drivers in a dipole setup, accompanied by a 1.4” compression driver affixed to a versatile CD horn. Its innovative horn design, coupled with a state-of-the-art bass-reflex port system, offers comprehensive bandwidth with an enhanced low-frequency output. This top-tier point source cabinet ensures a 75° horizontal directivity, regulated down to 500 Hz, paired with a 40° vertical spread. The horn's adaptability allows a 90° rotation for horizontal placement.

The Y7P is versatile in application, shining as a standalone full-range unit or when synergized with other Y-Series components, either grounded or suspended. Its sturdy marine plywood construction is shielded by a weather-resistant and impact-proof PCP (Polyurea Cabinet Protection) layer. A durable metal grill, complemented by sound-permeable foam, shields the speaker's front. Practicality is enhanced with built-in handles and M10 threaded points for d&b rigging accessories. Two additional M10 sockets accommodate the 8mm load pin, broadening installation possibilities.
