The Pliant Technologies' CCU-44 is the central Control Unit of their distinct CrewCom communication system. This 4-plus-4, 1RU Control Unit acts as the heart of the CrewCom system, setting up the CrewNet infrastructure and offering connections to traditional intercom systems. Uniquely, the CU lacks an in-built radio, making it frequency-independent and allowing it to manage any CrewNet device, irrespective of its radio frequency.
At its core is CrewNet™: a specially crafted, dependable network designed for high-priority communication settings. Serving as the interconnecting pillar for CrewCom devices, it underscores the system's decentralized network approach. With CrewNet, you can extend a CrewCom setup across expansive areas using Cat5e (for up to 100m) or Single Mode Fiber (reaching up to 10km).
