3G Productions Delivers Full-Scale Production for Telemundo’s World Cup Celebration Special

3G Productions supported the full production delivery for Telemundo’s recent live special celebrating music across Latin America ahead of the upcoming World Cup. Broadcast on June 7, the program brought together multiple artists representing different countries in a unified show centered around the theme “El Mundial es Nuestro” (“The World Cup is Ours”).
Working from concept through execution, 3G Productions provided a complete production package including audio, video, lighting, and rigging. The production design was developed by Malak, with 3G bringing that vision to fruition through a fully integrated technical environment supporting ten unique performances, each with its own visual identity and stage configuration. The overall design centered around a soccer-inspired staging concept, with dynamic floor packages and LED elements evolving throughout the broadcast.
On the lighting side, the design was led by Lighting Designer John Daniels (JD), working in collaboration with the 3G team to develop a system built around key fixtures including the Acme Tornado and Claypaky Ultimo Sharpy. With nearly 100 Ultimo Sharpies featured in the rig, the production marked one of the first large-scale televised uses of this fixture, contributing to the show’s striking visual impact.
The system was designed to operate with a festival-style energy, using high-output fixtures such as the Robe iForte for key and backlight, alongside Chauvet Strike M units interacting with LED elements to create layered visual depth. Additional strobe and effect elements helped build intensity and movement through the show, supporting a dynamic and high-energy broadcast environment.
"With a compressed timeline, the focus was on designing a system that could be deployed quickly while still supporting the creative vision at scale,” said JD. “It’s about balancing the storytelling, the technical constraints, and the team needed to bring the design to life.”
